1. Yoshitaka Amano: One of my all time favorite artist. I used to have art books of his and they were the most inspiring things to me. I would give almost anything to draw or paint like him. He does a lot of art for the Final Fantasy series, which is how I learned about him. I would totally kiss him on the cheek. This is my favorite work by him:

2. Love Letters: There is just something romantic about hand written letters. I think its because in this age of technology and instant gratification ( and spellcheck ) it is just easier to write an email or post on someones Facebook wall. I dont like that. I write my feelings down in multiple journals all the time. If I need to share my feelings with someone, chances are if its important enough to me I will write it down in a thoughtfully constructed letter. I always urge my friends to write letters to anyone they are having prblems with. There is just something magical about holding a physical letter in your hands and having the ability to keep it on you, and keep it forever. My neck tattoo sort of depicts how much I really do favor letters; especially love letters:

done by Steve Whittenberger of Rockabilly Tattoo in Lauderhill, Florida.
3. CHEESEBURGERS: I watched a show called “Freaky Eaters” on TLC and it was about a man who only ate Cheeseburgers his entire life. Literally. I was inspired so now Steve and I go to Wendys. I CAN HAS CHEESEBURGER.
4. Flavored Vodka: I will forever be a Gin & Tonic fan, but lately i’ve been really into weird flavored Vodka and flavored club soda, or Sprite. It tastes like Skittles. TRY IT.
5. E.T: One of my favorite movies of all time. Forever. ET and Jurassic Park were my staples growing up. I am currently have an E.T related costume in the works for Halloween! “Ooouuuuccchhhh.“
6. Katy Perry: I love her. She is pretty much my “style” icon – if I culd even say im stylish. I think she is sort of annoying, but I fucking looooove how she looks, and sings. I’d love to share a closet with her.
Last Tuesday I got my arm worked on a bit. I am bringing down both my 3/4 sleeves, and we are almost finished with my left sleeve. It has a 1920s girl, a perfume bottle, a moth, old Mucha style antique hair pins, hair brush, and roses with a negative space floral type background. We are almost done, and I am so excited! Here are some awful webcam photos:

Just ignore my space cat, she has to be in every picture.

I love writing love letters, too. Anytime I’m smitten with a guy I will write them completely cheesy nerdy love letters in pink ink and spray my body spray on it. I think this is sweet, they probably think this is psycho.
I’ve written Star Wars love letters… Back to the Future, WoW, Ghostbusters…
So far my tactics have not proven all that successful with forming and maintaining a relationship with the lucky love letter recipients, but one of these days I’ll find someone who appreciates it! One of these days! **shakes fist**

Not trying to cause trouble, just wanted to give you the heads up. (And you might know already.) On facebook it was suggesting friends to me, and a Krysti Pryde profile popped up, but it’s (what I’m guessing) an extremely old photo of you. So I think you have someone with a fake account, then when I went to go get the link another one was there. Maybe its just old accounts of yours and I’m wrong. I dunno, just wanted to tell you cause it sucks when someone makes fake accounts of you.

I adore love letters. I have a secret stash of old ones from past boyfriends that I pull out every 5 years or so and go through, its a funny evolution of words and junk most of them not even true love letters, more like thinking of you, lust letters or hey baby whats up letters. Just a fun reminder of my adolescence. I also have a stash of letters from my husband when we were first dating. I’ve kept them all, birthday cards, silly anniversary cards….I pull those out regularly and I still get them. I love it.

I agree. I have kept so many things over the years, notebooks filled with doodles, notes passed in high school, and other weird trinkets that remind me of special times in my life. I’ll probably be that crazy ass cat lady on Hoarders screaming at people “but theses are my memories!! you can’t take them away!!!” as I clutch 5 of my of cats while the rest stare at me. haha.

E.T. used to scare me senseless as a kid. It played on TV every year on Christmas and I would force myself to watch it so I could get over my fear. It never worked. Maybe I should try it again?
I love love letters, and I-hate-you letters, and what-the-fuck-happened letters, and notes your friends pass you in class. I have kept all of them, and a few of them still give me the chuckles. I love them for all the reasons you’ve mentioned and because there is just something about a person’s handwriting on paper that is wonderful to me.
I saw that Freaky Eaters show! TLC programming is so bizarre.
By the way, your tattoos are beautiful! You’re quite the piece of artwork.
