Combining two of my loves: coffee and one of my favorite Studio Ghibli films – Kiki from Kiki’s Delivery Service!

i’ll be trying the above at work later!
I really love Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibili. I have never been disappointed in any of the movies put out by them, and am always overly excited when I hear about a new one. So color me excited, because I just found these teaser trailers for the next one titled ” The Borrowers Arrietty ” which was inspired by Mary Norton’s fantasy book filled with tiny people.
The Borrowers is a series of children’s fantasy novels by Mary Norton about tiny people who live in the homes of big people and “borrow” things to survive while keeping their existence unknown. The central characters of the novels are a borrower family surnamed Clock: Pod, Homily and their spirited teenage daughter, Arrietty.
No doubt Miyazaki will transform this story into something more magical than it already is. It is supposed to be released in Japan on July 17th, 2010 – but I couldn’t find a US release date. Hopefully sooner than later!

Is it just me or does this Miyazaki work remind anyone else of that ’80s cartoon “The Littles”?
I heart me some Miyazaki. I had a friend visit Studio Ghibli a few years ago … amazing place.

Yes! I loved The Littles as a kid, i think that cartoon was based a bit off The Borrowers as well, so it makes sense. I always feel Studio Ghibli does such a great job with the stories they take on, and this one looks like it will be really fun.
I am pretty jealous of your friend…i want to visit so badly. I am sure I will eventually, im desperate!

Le hors champ du film est tout ce qui se passe et qu’on ne voit pas, mais que l’on peut par eplexme entendre. Dans le jeu, on peut en général aller vérifier l’apparence visuelle de ce qu’on entend. Peut-être pas toujours?
